Updated the code to address limited restrictions on agricultural use on lots less than five (5) acres, standards for roadside stands, farm markets and agritourism.
Provided standards and updated approval / revocation standards for conditional uses, including wind turbines, home occupations, solar panels, churches and ponds.
Provided standards for fencing and upgraded standards for landscaping buffers.
Addressed various legislative updates and court rulings, including separate rules of procedure for the BZA and ZC.
Created fair and equitable parking and signage regulations for the Township.
Provided for smart growth alternative to large lot splits where development can be clustered, if at least 50% of a site is preserved in open space.
The following are (1) a clean copy of the Wayne Township Zoning Resolution with proposed amendments already incorporated and (2) a marked up copy with tracked changes from the current adopted version of the code.
The next public meeting will be Thursday, January 31, 2019 at the Wayne Township Hall.
